Girl MOVE's Academy in Nampula is a symbol of female leadership per excellence, a reference to the world and a centre of generation of knowledge, where disruptive ideas and visions are put into practice and openly discussed.

An official mandatory stop when visiting Nampula
Students and neighbours from the surrounding communities were invited to participate in the construction, which was a process of sharing knowledge and co-creating with a common purpose.
The project has had a profound impact on the local and wider community, having been nominated twice by ArchDaily as "Building of the Year" in the category of educational architecture as witnessed in the Amazing Architecture article. 85% of the building is made of brick, produced locally using traditional techniques, and clay as a way of dignifying its existence.
