Be That Girl Foundation, Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance, and Girl MOVE Academy Join Forces to Empower Women and Youth Leaders for Peace in Africa
Be That Girl Foundation and Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance are joining forces to support Girl MOVE Academy in advancing women and youth leadership as a catalyst for peace, equity, and sustainable development across Africa.
Mozambique-based Girl MOVE Academy, recognized internationally by UNESCO and the United Nations, has already empowered over 300 young women to become mentors, changemakers, and policy influencers, directly impacting more than 25,000 girls and women through education, mentorship, and leadership initiatives. This movement demonstrates how investing in women’s leadership creates ripple effects that strengthen families, schools, and entire communities.
Through this collaboration, Girl MOVE Academy will scale its leadership ecosystem across the continent, providing young women with access to education, professional pathways, and the tools to drive community transformation. By combining the expertise and resources of Be That Girl Foundation and Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance with Girl MOVE’s proven model, this collaboration is poised to spark systemic change—building resilience, fostering intergenerational solidarity, and promoting peace through empowered young leaders.
